Job Description

The Photo – Archiver of New Business Age (P) ltd is responsible in providing photo archiving services as required by the Editors, Reporters and Designers.

REPORTS TO: News Editor, Photo Coordinator and Designers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate with Photo Coordinator, Chief Designer, Chief Reporter and Reporters of English and Nepali publications to manage and archive photos
Arrange to provide relevant photographs of important events
Ensure proper archiving of the photographs with proper caption and key words for easy retrieval when required by various departments
Archive of photos published on daily newspaper with proper key words
Use of offline and online storage medium to store photos
Observe basic journalistic requirements in caption with regards to the 5W and 1H questions

KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

Proper management of photos brought by Photojournalist, Reporters and those published on Arthik abhiyan Daily, New Business age magazine and company’s web portals
Make the search and retrieval of photos easy when needed, by placing proper key words
