• Plan work in consultation with Managers and to make sure that work is planned for the next shift
• Supervise the process of packaging and to make ensure entries in the Bottling/Canning Logbook in specified time and to report if the values are not within the specification
• Ensure efficient liaison with the packaging laboratory and beer process personnel, warehouse/excise personnel & engineering
• Run the plant in the most economical way and to minimize the wastage of beer & packaging materials as low as possible
• Support/coordinate maintenance personnel in their maintenance activities 
• Maintenance of optimum cleanliness & hygiene (Good House Keeping) of packaging area
• Prepare duty roster of the unit operators & workers acc. to the Production Schedule and ensure the proper implementation
• Handle problems, complaints, and grievances of the staff of the unit
• Report to administration those who are not following instruction and company rules
• Ensure the safety of subordinates while undertaking any jobs by instructing them to use safety gear and follow safety measures as per the company health & safety policy 
• Make sure proper implementation of production schedule & CIP programmes
