Job Description

Proshore Nepal is seeking an Operations Manager who is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

We have a casual, open office environment in Tinkune within walking distance of the Kantipur Publication Building. If this description and the items below seem like a potential fit we look forward to hearing from you.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee company operations to ensure efficiency, professionalism services and cost effective management of resources
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Overseeing inventory, distribution of goods and facility layout.
  • Supervising employees
  • Logistic support & procurement.
  • Developing and facilitating programs around the company.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the recruitment, selection, onboarding and exit process
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Able to manage dispute if any.

Minimum Qualification:

  • At least 3 years of experience in related field
  • Experience in a software driven environment is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or relevant field
  • Master’s degree in Management would be a plus
