Job Description

Department: Business Promotion

Reporting: Director / Senior Officer and / or MD

Profile Summary:

A candidate should work with the aim of being aware of all upcoming projects related to various sectors (mainly infrastructure and engineering) and identifying the most reliable company (PRINCIPAL) to implement the project under the monitoring and supervision of a particular ministry / government entity (CLIENT). An ideal candidate should have strong marketing and public relation skills and should be familiar with the tender bidding processes, government procurement processes and relevant legal compliances.

Responsibilities:

  • Primarily focus on client visits
  • Market the company’s services to potential clients and partners through effective presentation, strategic decision-making and diligent correspondences
  • Maintain excellent public relations with all relevant stakeholders of the company
  • Be aware of new opportunities published through public as well as other sources. Post holder should constantly read national dailies and, maintain up to date information on potential projects / opportunities
  • Research on relevant companies (the principal/partner) and demonstrate effective correspondence skills to encourage their participation in national projects 
  • Prepare and/or assist principle/partner during bid preparation in public sector projects (mainly infrastructure and engineering sector)
  • The profile demands the post holder be analytical / judgmental while reviewing either the company’s or it’s partner’s bid documents in order to be able to maximize company’s chances of success
  • Maintain good and professional relationship with clients and partners/principals
  • Undertake impromptu tasks on immediate occurrence, supervisor’s instructions, importance, time constraint and need (including out-of-station official travel)
