Ghap Community Awareness Society (GCAS) is a non profitable non government organization that has been working for the welfare of Himalayan Children of Tsum Nubri Rural Municipality since 2017 B.S in different social sectors such as health, education and WASH activities. Regardless of any race, religion and culture, GCAS has been co partnering with different entities of other organizations and community and government stakeholders to accomplish its goal of empowering the community people and children in health and education.

Job Specification

  • Should have fluent verbal and written English and Nepali, computer skills, cross-cultural skills, communication skills
  • Must have knowledge of basic accounting, health/WASH knowledge, human resources, public relation, and project management skills

Job Description

  • Develop action plan and budgets for all NGO activities
  • Responsible for correspondence between INGO and NGO projects, including progress, reports, donor reports, financial reports, and government reports
  • Responsible to plan and coordinate MPAC, Social Audit, NGO renewal and registrations, and all other government related work
  • Oversee NGO additives and administration  to ensure projects are program and cost effective
  • Communicate and manage staff responsible for implementing project activities
  • Responsible for procurement and office maintenance in Kathmandu
  • Must be willing to travel to Gorkha or other remote areas if needed
  • Maintain good relationships with community, government officials, NGO partners, and stakeholders
  • Monitor project success indicators, budget, project outcomes, and analyze research data
  • Responsible for making payments to vendors, contractors, or others which the NGO owes payment
