Responsibilities

• Public Finance and Public Procurement Specialist: Develop and implement capacity development programs in the areas of financial controls, budgeting, budget execution, participatory budgeting, public expenditure management, accounting procedures and policies, use of accounting software, internal auditing, internal control policies and procedures. : Develop and implement capacity development programs in public procurement, including development of policies and procedures, manuals, and training programs.   

 Job Specifications: 

• Nepali citizenship, or Nepali residency with deep understanding of Nepal's government and culture. 
• Fluent in Nepali and in English 
• Minimum 10 years of experience in subject area 
• Minimum a Bachelor-level university degree, preferably an advanced degree.  
• Experience working as an accountant or controller with recognized certifications, with minimum 5 years' experience working in a Nepali Government Agency. 
• Public Procurement Specialist: Minimum 5 years' experience working in a procurement function in a government agency, experience in building procurement capacity
