Various full-time and part-time positions are available for a Medical Typist based at Shantinagar, Kathmandu.

The main focus of this position is to ensure that the transcription of pathology requests forms and auditing of the transcripted information is carried out accurately. Other key duties include transcribing medical information, entering billing information, auditing and other general office duties.

The successful applicant must be computer literate, demonstrate accurate typing skills with a minimum speed of 70 wpm.  Accuracy and efficiency working under pressure in addition to the ability to communicate and work well as part of a team are also required for this role.

Experience in a previous medical typing role and/or familiarity with medical terminology is desirable but not essential. Previous study in the field of Science(+2 or BSc) is an added advantage. Willingness to learn medical terminology is essential.

Must be able to work various shift work during morning, day and night.

This role requires availability to work between various hours of the day during various days of the week on a rostered basis.
