About the Program: PAHAL is a five-year Program funded by the USAID’s Office of Food for Peace. It is implementing in a consortium led by Mercy Corps in partnership with international, national and local partners. The program is implementing in 14 districts in the middle and high hills of Mid and Far Western Nepal. The program seeks to improve nutritional status, by strengthening livelihoods and increasing the capacity of vulnerable households to prevent, mitigate, adapt to and recover from shocks and stresses in communities with deep poverty and high rates of malnutrition in critical zones. Plan International Nepal is working in the areas of WASH and nutrition to support its work improving sanitation status and nutrition behaviour with special focus in pregnant women and children.
Purpose: The position holder will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E activities of the PAHAL program for the components led by Plan (WASH & Nutrition). S/he will collect and analyze different data in relation to the program activities and ensure that use of data and information are in consistency with Plan and USAID requirements. S/he will work in close collaboration with other M&E members of the consortium, Government Officials, Program Officials, non- government and civil society organizations and other key stakeholders.
Term and Location: Fixed term employment until 31 August 2019 based in Kathmandu.
