Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) is a Payment System Operator licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank and promoted by NRB and almost all the banks & financial institutions to establish and operate national payment systems in Nepal. It is currently operating Electronic Cheque Clearing (NCHL-ECC), Interbank Payment System (NCHL-IPS), Retail Payment Switch (RPS) and National Payment Switch (NPS) with processing of over 90% of retail transactions in terms of value within Nepal. Additional channel platforms that NCHL is providing includes connectIPS, National Payments Interface (NPI), CORPORATEPAY, connectRTGS and NEPALPAYQR. NCHL is expanding its team to drive its existing systems, businesses and operations including National Payment Switch (NPS). Job Description

This is a mid-level role to prepare and execute comprehensive marketing and promotional plans. He/she shall handle digital & social media channels, agency/media/public relation management. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed marketing and promotional plans and ensure their execution to achieve the targets
  • Analyze industry trends, identify new business opportunities and prepare business case for new product/service. Prepare proposals for new leads and follow ups for new enrollments and engagements
  • Conduct product/ service presentations to technical and non-technical senior officials of the existing & potential members and other clients
  • Manage company’s brand online and off-line; handle digital & social media, corporate websites
  • Manage marketing, promotion and/or ad agencies for all BTL and ATL related activities as per marketing/ promotional plans
  • Responsible for all marketing and promotion materials related to their design, color, content, liaising with the vendors and distribution
  • Responsible for coordinating with media and handling public relations
  • Research industry and related events/ publications/ announcements in the field of payment & settlement to identify additional business/ use cases
  • Enhance organization reputation and confirms to organizational policies and procedures
  • Act as a backup of Business Development Manager and executes other activities as required

Job Specification

  • Master’s degree in Marketing/ Management/ Commerce or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand management, public relation, media/ agency handling. Exposure in technology based product/ services shall be preferred
  • Expert in all forms of communication skills, negotiation and deal closing skills. Strong research and computer skills required
  • Detail-oriented individual, who can work under deadline and target pressure both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
  • Proactive, creative and strong in all forms of communication
