Overall Responsibility and Accountability:
- This is a full-time position that will require working closely with the clients to support all of the sales/pre-sales/post sales activities for overall operations in Nepal. His/her role as marketing officer is to formulate and drive the overall Marketing and Communications strategy for Siddhadevi.
- The appointee is responsible for devising and implementation of the Annual Marketing and Communications Plan. This will include the marketing and communications budget, demonstrating value for money and return on investment.
Reports To: Managing Director/CEO
Line Manages: Marketing/Administration Assistant
Additional Key Relationships: Store Manager/Officer, Accountant Officer
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support the Managing Director to devise and implement the external and internal marketing and administrative strategy to ensure that the company is operating in a consistent, efficient and professional manner with all its stakeholders, staff and authorities.
- Determine details of the marketing plan/targets and get approval from the MD. Update the Marketing Plan on a quarterly/annual basis.
- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products and submit it to the MD every six months. The objective of said research is to: analyze customer preferences, current market conditions and competitor information, develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new products, expand and develop marketing platforms including social media platforms, monitor industry best practices, monitor outcome of sales representative of different companies debuted in Nepal and to cross-check the demand generation from those representatives.
- Communicate and facilitate achievement of volume target on month wise/brand wise/region wise basis every month.
- Prepare and report on all the marketing activities and results every month.
- Monitor rebate, discounts, allowances allocation for sister concerns and other customers in coordination with the store manager and accounts officer and report it to MD every month.
- Follow up of the market dues and prepare ageing, collection report in coordination with account officer every month.
- Ensure company records, ie. attendance/leave/FA register is in order in all respects and prepare monthly report.
- Create marketing presentations on a quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with the sales function along with inventory management.
- Prepare/submit and implement administrative plan/procedure of the company.
- Maintenance of log book of the vehicle and monitor it.
- Manage the leave requests and complaints and report it to MD.
- Manage agreements and contracts with different parties.
- Prepare MIS Template for all the departments and staff to be submitted to the MD and prepare agenda for a monthly review meeting to update the MIS.
- Individuals with industry experience will be given priority.
Outline Terms and Conditions
Salary: Negotiable
Working Year/Hours: All year round: 10am-5pm with an hour's paid lunch break.
Leave Entitlement: 20 days per annum, Holidays will normally be considered only for major public holidays in Nepal unless there is specific pronouncement from MD/CEO.
Benefits: Company issued vehicle (motorcycle), travel allowance, free residence within company premises.
Prohibitory Period: Three months
