Report to: Members Services Supervisor
Working Hour: 48hr per week

Duties & Responsibilities:
Pool Management:
- Vacuum & clean swimming pool daily
- Keep pool chairs and mattresses clean all the time
- Send water for test once a week to the outside lab
- Check water pump house every day and report any malfunctioning to supervisor immediately
- keep swimming pool area clean
- Set up and store away furniture around the pool at beginning and end of each day
Life Guarding:
- Enforce all AMA pool rules given by AMA
- vigilantly watch pool while members are swimming
- Ensure the correct number of life guards on duty at all times
- Rotate with co-shift worker to ensure one lifeguard is always in the lifeguard seat in observation
- Observe the toddler / family pool and ensure members are following regulations
Other Duties:
- Give swimming lessons to the members when required
- Other duties as directed by management
Customer Service:
- Represent AMA in a positive, professional and courteous manner to customers and staff
- Ensure the provision of service standards that develop and encourage repeat business
- Respond to customer complaints and refer to managers if required
- Always wear uniform when on duty
- Uphold the excellent grooming and presentation standards of AMA
Service Support:
- Ensure efficient use and management of time
- Contribute new ideas and offer customer feedback to Supervisor
- Report any damaged or equipment breakdowns
- Assist in creating and maintaining a safe working environment
- Support the implementation of new policies and procedures issued by Management from time to time
- Exhibit a positive and involved team attitude to all and promote positive relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust and mutual respect
- Perform all assigned duties efficiently, technically correct, follows Company policies, rules and regulations, requests of Superiors, adhere to procedures and achieve a high standard leading to total guest satisfaction
- Update yourself and follow procedures according to AMA rules and regulations
- Attend divisional/departmental meeting and training when requested
- Assist with other duties as determined by immediate superiors from time to time
Skills and Experience:
- Full Life Guard qualification and license with Nepal Swimming Association
- Full Swimming Instructor qualification and license
- At least 3 years of work experience
- Knowledge and experience of Swimming Pool attendance and water filtration systems
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with the public
- Fluency in spoken English language
