We are looking for a clever, productive, and collegial person with the
right experience to join us in Nepal as a Lead IT Business Analyst. This role
reports to our CEO and works closely with the entire executive team. The job is
to coordinate and manage all aspects of process-innovation including
coordinating with all of Stonestep IT-based development in all countrywide implementation,
and design of new solutions using new technologies. This hands-on role needs to
produce detailed business requirements and keep multiple projects on track
simultaneously.
This position provides a unique opportunity in a growth-stage company with

for and even to prototype IT solutions coupled with the necessary
entrepreneurial drive to get things done. The role requires a self-starter
attitude and confidence in iterative work with our internal partnership
management colleagues and external partner’s IT resources to reach a successful
IT implementation at the end.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Turn great ideas into business requirements,
actionable prototypes, and then into scalable business solutions by
working with leaders across the business
- Analyses and leads all IT technical
requirements and documentation such as BRD, Project Plan, Partner
Integration, Workflows, and Process
- Manage resources, budget, and timelines to
implement a core platform in multiple countries in Asia
- Represent IT in discussions with major
partners such as mobile network operators, mobile money providers,
insurers, and non-bank financial institutions
- Manage contracting with vendors
- Manage inter-dependencies including oversight
of any risks and issues arising
- Basic financial management activities,
including budget management, reporting
- Hire, train and oversee delivery against
objectives of dedicated staff
- Handles overall Project Management: Product,
Process and Technical Design, System integration, Infrastructure Set up,
API connectivity (Vendors and Merchants), UAT testing and deployment
- Assist
and provide inputs to the business case
- Plan
and monitor system development
