Job Description: 

  • LC /TT Open as per Terms & Conditions, Transit Insurance & Transmit
  • Gather the necessary information and documents to complete the Letter of Credit and any related financial transactions.
  • Draft Documents verification for accuracy and completeness as per LC Terms & Conditions & confirm to Beneficiary
  • Documents tracking & release from the Bank
  • Documents received from the bank are sent to the Clearing Agent for Nepal Customs clearance along with GFP Chq.
  • Bills check of Clearing, Freight , Nepal Customs, Clearing Agent Bill, Freight Nepal Customs - Warehouse
  • LC Tracking Sheet is maintained properly in Excel Sheet.
  • Interacting daily with Operations, banks, Clients, Suppliers, and other outside Counterparties.
  • Prepares the Letters of credit (L/C) application form provided by the bank based on the approved pro forma invoice and purchase order, Submits the L/C application to the L/C Manager with the supporting documents for review
  • Revises, checks and reconciles LC's Bills received from the bank with the relevant purchase orders and details of actual shipment effected, then submit to L/C Manager for verification
  • Proper’s maintenance and systematic filing of letters of credit, shipping documents, bills (BC and LC) and insurance documents
  • Follows-up with the concerned parties the compensation being claimed
  • Provides Accounts Dept. with original and copies of B/L, Invoice and BC (Bill Collection)
  • Type’s letters of credit and related documents.
  • Records payments and liabilities and other customer account information
