• Initially, will be focused on the transition from a traditional server based system to the cloud and this will include the training of all users
• It is envisaged that the IT team will grow with Employees and / or sub-contractors to enable future data analysis to be automated and displayed in real time
• Develop systems, applications and bespoke forms to assist with the running of the organisation
• Creation of technical documents including quality and security standards
• Work on the remote monitoring of energy assets owned by others
• Liaison between project managers and site staff/contractors.
• Organise yourself and a small team of engineers, technicians (and others) working on a variety of projects.
• Assign & manage hours for each project and manage resource so that people are fully utilised
• Know the sequence of jobs (in the office) and pre-empt the need for information/client input
• Work as part of a team to suggest improvements which will benefit our clients

Qualifications and Skills

• A true expert with enough experience to implement and fix problems
• A formal relevant qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, Masters)
• IELTS C1 / C2 English language written & spoken
• Sympathetically manage Users of all levels of competence as well as staff and sub-contractors
• Logical and methodical approach to IT systems
• In depth knowledge of M365, Teams and SharePoint / One Drive
• Experience in the creation and management of PowerApp, PowerAutomate and Plug-ins
• Experience of working with multiple users at various locations in different time zones
• Able to work within a dynamic environment with good attention to detail
• Able to work to tight deadlines and self-manage priorities against multiple tasks

Shift Work

• The post will be required to undertake some shift work (early or late)
• Some weekend work will be required from time to time
• On standby for fault / query management
