Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities with other NGOs and Agencies to develop potential joint ventures and funding.
- Stay up-to-date on trends, inventions, methods and techniques related to IsraAID emergency and development work and conduct a continuous strategic review of IsraAID programs to respond to a rapidly changing environment.
- Coordinate programme innovation and effectiveness reviews and evaluations, and follow up on the implementation of recommendations found.
- Produce timely quality reports in line with IsraAID’s established policy.
- Provide leadership support to IsraAID staff and promote best practices in efficient office management and in innovation.
- Implementation.
- Provide coaching and mentoring advice to colleagues and partners when necessary and lead initiatives to develop staff capacity.
- The Innovation Director will lead the internal integration of innovative processes to improve the organization's performance and Workflow.
- Facilitate and coordinate expert and HQ visits, meetings, discussions, and evaluations as necessary with Partners, Staff, volunteers and potential collaborators.
- Act as guardian of the IsraAID brand.
- Actively contribute to IsraAID’s reputation and role as a national, international and regional organization.
- Maintain regular communication with IsraAID-Israel HQ, and other IsraAID branches, as appropriate.
- Provide inputs to IsraAID international activities as and when required, participate in task forces, training courses and conferences.
- Provide media outputs as pictures, stories, executive summary etc on a regular basis.
Qualification and Experience:
- Master’s degree in relevant field from recognized University.
- Minimum 5 years of Experience working in an Israeli Organization in the development sector, I/NGOs.
- Fluency in English and Nepali, strong written and oral communication
- Leadership experience in monitoring and evaluating strategies and oversee their implementation.
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.

- Candidates with open ideas and thoughts with the flexibility to work as per the project needs are desirable.
- Availability to start the job in February 2018.
