Institutional Capacity Development Officer

Duty Station: State Support Unit in Itahari

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics or Social Science or relevant subject
  • Minimum 3 years’ of work experience of institutional capacity development in development sector
  • Experience in project/ programme monitoring will be an advantage
  • Commitment towards issues related to gender, social equality and poverty reduction

Job purpose:

This position is responsible for contributing analysis on local institutions their current structure, mechanisms and performance, and working with local levels to develop interventions for improving the efficiency of extension services system at local level. S/he will support local levels in developing and implementing their institutional development plan including capacity building plan. Also, s/he supports State Manager for effective and efficient monitoring and reporting, and dissemination of learning among local and state governments
