Job Description

  • Provide a frontline support service, in identifying and resolving student issues, and to ensure that the necessary referrals are made efficiently and professionally to the Counselors of specific department
  • Provide information, advice and support to students on a range of personal and academic issues and refer to the management for developing academic programs to resolve the issues effectively
  • Efficiently assess the student’s academic needs and expectation from the institution
  • To maintain the proper record of the students of the institution for reference and reporting
  • Prepare and disseminate a range of information and guidance materials to the students as approved by the head of academics
  • Manage the flow of student to their respective classes and maintain appropriate and effective ways of communicating with students and staff
  • Collect and review feedback from students and staff by appropriate means for continual development of student support
  • Listen to students’ concerns about academic problem and help students process their academic issues
  • Perform assessments, interpret tests and study student records. Gather and analyze data to measure results and complete regular reports on academic progress of the students
  • Retains existing partners by attending to their requirements regularly and by immediately solving issues if any
  • Schedules visits, manages company staff, in-house test preparation classes, university visits/seminars and other activities in coordination with the partner schools
  • Maintains an efficient recording system of schedules, partner schools contact persons, students and their preferred courses, interested study abroad institutions and destinations in the Company CRM (Deeya) or any other formats as required for timely reporting to the immediate supervisor and the board when required
  • Attends trainings and seminars provided by International partners institutions at office premises and other venues as per their plans
  • Attends recommended trainings by the Company and attains certifications like (QEAC, USATC etc...)
  • Interprets and explains college and university policies and procedures of application; orients and presents academic information to students and parents during counselling sessions
  • Identifies options for student/s to satisfy degree requirements; evaluate and make recommendations in the international institution/s for preferred program of study and assists students in completion of admission process.
  • Regularly follows up to ensure that the students process to study abroad from the Company
  • Tracks progress of each student of partners schools and updates the same to the concerned
  • Achieves the specified targets on time as agreed
  • Analyses progress; determines eligibility, necessities and resources to progress towards the target
  • Identifies current and potential needs or problem areas, and refers the problem, if any, to the immediate supervisor following protocol
  • Checks and stays up to date with various forms for accuracy such as curriculum changes, visa policy changes, fee schedule changes and update the same in the information system
  • Regularly searches for options for student/s to satisfy specific degree requirements which could also include partnering with new institutions in new destinations to fulfill the student’s requirements/desires
  • Evaluates academic documents of previous institutions for equivalencies and application to degree program
  • Coordinates with the Academic Department to ensure the status of the currently enrolled students in various programs for further process of Counselling
  • Cooperates and collaborates with other professionals in enhancing the career and education of students
  • Visits branches and franchise offices to support smooth operation as and when required
  • Is responsible for maintaining the assets within custody and maintaining the ISO Standard, documentation and file maintenance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Maintains discipline, punctuality and create friendly environment to ensure team work
  • Adheres to the ethical standards and preferred practices prescribed by the Company

  • Participates in decision making and in activities, which contribute to the effective operation of the department
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and motivates team members as and when required
