Job Description

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Address concerns and handle grievances of employee in a professional manner and in line with company’s established HR policies. Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintain and update company’s HR Manual. Coordinate with concerned stakeholders for any changes required and ensure all staff are aware regarding the same
  • Provide support and guidance to the team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Prepare and maintain a system for periodic appraisals while ensuring all staff are discussed and assigned KPI targets. Assist managers in designing and implementing Performance Based Incentive (PBI) programs as needed
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Consult legal counsel as required
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Prepare budget for human resources operations including training, development, reward/recognition, refreshment etc
  • Perform other duties as assigned
