AAIN is seeking competent, committed and result-oriented candidates for the position of Human Resource, Organisational Development & Safeguarding Manager (HROD&S). HROD&S Manager ensures the development, update, and implementation of human resources and safeguarding policies, procedures, and systems for AAIN which are aligned to the AAIN Country Strategic Plan; and ensures adherence to HR good practices of AAI Global HROD Framework and Standards, and compliance with all local labor laws and other statutory requirements in Nepal.

Reports to: HROD Manager

Grade: Five (5)

Location: Country Office, Kathmandu

Direct Reports: Human Resource Assistant; Trainees and interns in the department

Key Responsibilities:

HROD Officer is responsible for the management of all operational HR processes under the direct supervision and guidance of HROD Manager. This position provides support in the strategic human resource management by actively participating in HROD strategy, policy, and guideline formulation as well as providing inputs in HR related decision making as and when sought.

Key Competencies Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or any other relevant degree from a recognized University
  • A Master’s degree with a specialisation in HR preferred
  • At least 3-4 years’ work experience in a related field in a similar role and similar organization, and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
