About Position:

Under the direct supervision of Country Director, s/he will be responsible for an overall management of Human Resources (HR) and administrative functions of HI Nepal program.

Job Description: 

  • Develop and update HR policies and ensure compliance to and implementation of the policies, systems and practices in the entire HR and admin activities
  • Manage the overall talent acquisition and retaining of talents
  • Oversee the contract and benefits administration in regard to issuance, renewal and revision for employment contracts
  • Conduct training needs assessment, develop and facilitate implementation of the training plan
  • Provide guidance to line managers and staff on performance management with special focus on staff development plans and performance appraisals
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the HR and Admin team handling HRIS, Insurances, Induction and other HR and Admin related functions
Job Specification: 

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources Management 
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of Human Resources Management with at least 2 years of proven experience in a managerial role with involvement in strategic human resource management role
  • Sound knowledge of Human Resources processes and related tools and updated knowledge of local labour laws
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills, dynamic, team player and strategic thinker
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written Nepali and English languages
