Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the VP, Regional HR Asia with geographical reporting line to General Manager of Nepal Operation, this role will manage a full spectrum of C&B functions including annual
  • compensation review, payroll calculations, benefit reviews & administration of HRIS projects
  • The incumbent will be in charge of reviewing and developing the HR policies and procedures for the Nepal Operation.

Principal Responsibilities:

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Develop, review and implement reward strategies and programmes
  • Conduct analysis of the market salary survey and make appropriate recommendations to ensure pay competitiveness and cost effectiveness
  • Manage the annual salary review exercise
  • Monitor payroll operations, benefits administration to ensure on-time service delivery

HR Governance

  • Continuously review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and to ensure operation efficiency
  • Continuously assess the operational risks of HR operations and recommend appropriate remedial actions
  • Ensure that all operations and activities undertaken comply with legal & regulatory requirements


HR Projects & HRIS

  • In charge of the HR projects including HRIS migration and Payroll Outsource Project,
  • work closely with system vendor and project management team.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality control and data integrity of the human resources
  • To provide timely management reports and projects progress reports

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

  • 10 years of HR experience, preferably in Financial Institution or MNCs
  • Working experience in C&B HRIS implementation are critical
  • Good knowledge of country Labor Act, Tax related regulations and country best practices of HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – need to have good relationship management with all levels of management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be able to communicate effectively both internally with all levels of management
  • The incumbent must possess high degree of proficiency in English both written and oral communication.
  • Knowledge of Nepali and ability to interpret and translate official and legal documents of Government of Nepal is essential.
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point
