Deerwalk Institute of Technology (DWIT), is a premier IT College established in 2010 in collaboration between Nepalese entrepreneurs and the United States-based software company, Deerwalk Inc. It is an affiliation to Tribhuvan University, which is the oldest University in Nepal. Within the affiliation of Tribhuvan University, DWIT offers two undergraduate programs, Bsc.CSIT and BCA.

DWIT aims to train technical professionals who have the capability to bring Nepal into the global marketplace with the support of both Nepalese and American professionals who seek to improve the quality of Nepal’s education, and, in doing so, contribute to the nation’s economic development.

  • Must have completed Master's Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role
  • Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training & development etc.
  • Good understanding of labor laws
  • Proficient in MS Office and other applicable tools
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Strong ethical standards

Job Description

  • Identified KPIs for HR department
  • Plan, implement and manage the overall resource pool
  • Provide counseling and support on policies and procedures
  • Perform duties such as job descriptions, job posting and promotion and hiring analytics
  • Create, implement and manage onboarding plans
  • Plan and implement training programs
  • Assist in performance management and employee evaluation
  • Maintaining employee records and paperwork
  • Adhere to laws and regulations
  • Drawing up plans for future personnel hiring procedures and goals
  • Additional training in HR and certification will be a plus
