Job Description

Role Summary:  Enable Veritacore to scale its operations and its impact. The role will focus on embedding our culture and developing processes that allow Veritacore to grow without compromising client satisfaction and employee transformation.  

Responsibilities

HR Compliance

Resolve any performance related issues according to the Veritacore consequence management procedures and policies. Activities include:

  • Ensuring that Veritacore is compliant with the Labour Code and any relevant DOLE and Labour laws in the management and treatment of staff
  • Ensure that there is proper record keeping of any management actions (investigations, hearings, outcomes)
  • Develop Performance Management Plans for under-performing staff
  • Track the status and outcome of PMP execution

Performance Management

Ensure that the Veritacore performance framework and quarterly evaluations are completed successfully. Activities include:

  • Ensuring that regular (fortnightly) performance catch-ups between team leads and reports occur
  • Coordinating with team leads to collate performance feedback
  • Conducting performance reviews with team leads and reports

Remediation/Retention

Manage and help improve retention of staff. Key activities include:

  • Spearheading retention and culture activities including company events, week-long company culture celebrations
  • Data analysis across the employee population to determine trends in performance and retention
  • Conducting exit interviews
  • Advising management on improved retention practices and how to build a better company culture

Veritacore Values

Ensure that the Veritacore values of Integrity, Responsibility, Teamwork, Customer and Quality are understood and exemplified across all our staff. Activities associated with this include:

  • Ensuring that there is constant communication of company values
  • Implement programs and activities that resolve gaps in understanding amongst employees about company values (e.g. Integrity Month and associated activities)

Manage Entry Level Hiring

Ensure that Veritacore has a strong pipeline of candidates for its entry-level roles. As HR Manager, you need to manage the HR Assistant accomplish the following:

  • Developing strong relationships with our referral partners 
  • Conducting job fairs to assess candidate suitability
  • Conducting interviews to identify candidates for our training programs
  • Visiting referral partners and promoting job opportunities in Veritacore 
  • Speaking at authorized events where candidates may be present

Senior Hiring

Sourcing and hiring candidates for senior roles. These roles typically are specialized and require previous work experience. Activities include

  • Posting jobs in relevant websites and social media
  • Working with head hunters to shortlist candidates for interviews
  • Conduct interviews and refer suitable candidates to senior management for final interviews
  • Provide job offers and onboard successful candidates
