  • An ability to create menus that are innovative and profitable

  • A deep understanding of ingredients and produce
  • Real creativity when it comes to food
  • The ability to delegate tasks
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • BS degree in culinary science or related certificate
  • Must be at least 5 years experiences on related fields

Job Description

  • Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations
  • Responsible for managing the end-to-end kitchen operations
  • Creating new menus or updating existing dishes and ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
  • Maintaining the highest standard of hygiene in the kitchen area
  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Maintaining/raising the food’s profit margins for your employer
  • Estimating foods costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget
  • Monitoring and controlling stock levels
  • Training to trainee staffs and manage their works
  • Recruit and Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  • Promote a climate of positive work culture and motivate the workers as and when required
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Handle enquiries and request of related works
  • Handling above responsibilities for four outlets centralization through head office
