As a full-stack developer, you are part of a cross-functional team of three to six members and your passion for web technologies contributes to the innovative success of our customers. You play a role in ensuring the quality of your team’s technical work, both code and software designs. You are responsible for designing the software or systems required in your area of ownership and meeting their design objectives. Understanding business context and purpose enables you to make technical decisions aligned with longer-term needs, not just immediate requirements.

Your contributions

• Design and implementation of multi-tenant cloud services in a microservice landscape
• Ensuring high availability of the platform across the entire globe
• Transform and extend our microservice architecture into a serverless, highly scalable, and secure backend
• Connect numerous data sources (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, S3, unstructured public sources, etc.) with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Design and implement an entire application landscape of Angular applications that interfaces with our microservice back-end
• Collaborate with our UI/UX team to make sure our user interfaces are adhering to all best practices and are consistent
• Make interface components reusable across multiple web applications by working on internal library projects
• Be a major driver for the successful delivery of new features in our application landscape

Skills Requirement

You should have at least 2+ years of experience with the following technologies

• Node.js and the NPM ecosystem
• Database queries and transactions via SQL
• Unit and functional testing with Jest
• Understanding Continuous Integration and Delivery with Pipelines (or Jenkins) to AWS (or another PaaS)
• Principals should include SOLID, RESTful services, and microservice application design patterns
• Striving for performance and utilizing application metrics to identify bottlenecks
• CSS3, HTML5

Nice To Have:

• Proficiency with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with ElasticSearch
• Experience with Terraform and virtualization using Docker
• Familiarity with Unix-based systems and bash scripting
• An eye for user interfaces and user experience best practices
• Experience with Angular
