• Has to carry out the general management of all the forest-related work that comes under his/her section or division
  
• Has to keep a direct control over the execution of forest works and the administration of the division under him
  
• Should update plantation journals, control books and control journals
• Provide technical advice for ensuring effective implementation of strategies for climate change adaptation, and alignment with activities and policies on climate change in general
  
• Prepare assigned district level trimester performance reports indicating the achievement of work plan targets and corresponding expenditures, as well as knowledge products
• Under the technical guidance to the RCDC/ WFP/DPCU (District Project Coordination Unit), effectively implement the Project, through an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach in the project districts
• Explore opportunities and advise on the adoption of climate-smart planning in on-going and future activities at community and district level
