Job Description

Reports to:   Finance Controller

Department: Finance & Administration

Duties 

  • Documenting financial transactions by entering account information in to the system.
  • Dealing with Receivables and Payables, includes processing invoices, following up and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Verifying expenses are within the organization’s policies, correcting errors, questioning abnormal expenses and resolving the problem.
  • Maintaining internal control system by following policies and procedures; complying local financial and legal requirements.
  • Correcting errors by posting adjusting journal entries
  • Assisting in payroll disbursements; TDS filing.
  • Preparing or assist in preparing various periodic financial or administrative reports.
  • Processing requisitions for supplies and equipment.
  • Maintenance of Fixed asset register and also keeping track of moving assets.
  • Working with the Administration Officer to prepare HR records, formulate job advertisement, draft job offer letters and contracts and filing of such HR records
  • Facilitating and monitoring the project activities from the financial standpoint. Making frequent field visits to inspect and ensure internal control system as well as local laws are maintained. 
  • Undertaking General Administration tasks in coordination with Office Administrator.
  • Securing financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
  • Assisting with Monthly and Year end tasks.

Working days: Sunday-Friday
