Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) established in 2003 is a not-for-profit organization representing the collective efforts of women entrepreneurs in the economic progress of the nation and decision-making at national and international levels. FWEAN aims to promote women entrepreneurship through advocacy, networking, information dissemination and capacity building throughout the country. It is an apex body of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations in Nepal (WEAN), with 50 subsidiary WEAN chapters at present.

FWEAN is seeking for a sincere Nepali candidate who is experienced, qualified and can work independently by maintaining integrity at its office based in Kathmandu.

  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and administering policies pertaining to local national labor laws
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and with cultural sensitivity in writing and verbally with a diverse group of co-workers, partners, and the general public
  • High level of attention to details in all aspects of work responsibilities
  • Written and verbal communications skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively with an international organizational headquarters and with the field staff

Job Description

FWEAN is seeking for a sincere Nepali candidate who is experienced, qualified and can work independently by maintaining integrity at its office based in Kathmandu for a 10 months project

  • Manage daily account, day to day finance functions, Book keeping including financial reporting
  • Implement the financial policy of the organization
  • Prepare payments, receipts of programs and adjustments needed
  • Receive, verify and ensure that supporting documents are submitted by program staffs while settling advance
  • Maintain proper filing system of all financial documents, retrieving efficiently for internal review, audit and other purpose
  • Plan, maintain and implement budget planning with the project coordinator for implementation of activities and saving
  • Generate monthly financial report of plan vs expenditure and provide it to the board of FWEAN
  • Monitor approved budgets vs expenditures
  • Check and ensure attendance, payment and other necessary supporting documents required for settlement
  • Report and document necessary information and documents required by the donors
  • Preparation of the Fund Request and Fund transfers
  • Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements
