Job purpose
Reporting to the Country Director, the Finance Manager will be the focal point for financial controls, donor compliance, legal and statutory compliance for BBC Media Action's work in Nepal. S/he will be the main point of contact for financial issues and will liaise with Government line agencies, donors and partners on financial matters. S/he will also be expected to provide financial guidance to staff members and partner organizations. The Finance Manager ensures that all BBC Media Action financial transactions are value for money.
The post is based in Kathmandu and will require some travel within Nepal.
