Position: Sr. Finance Officer (Full Time)
Report to: Program Head & Executive Director
Job location: Kathmandu

Key Qualification/Requirement:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree) in relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling financial management of projects commissioned by multilateral and bilateral donors, INGOs, etc.
Strong background and experience in financial planning, budgeting, implementation and analysis
Ability to prepare and track the budget information and advice the management
Good knowledge and understanding of government financial and tax-related policies
Sound knowledge and skills in operating TALLY and other accounting software
Sound ability to carry out multi-tasks and work under the pressure
Have strong communication skills both in Nepali and English
Experience in administrative management and internal control systems will be an added advantage

Job Description

Ensure effective and efficient functioning of MITRA Samaj’s financial management in accordance with Government of Nepal and donors' policies
Carry out financial plans, payment and financial report preparation as required
