The Finance Director is responsible to lead overall financial management, while ensuring compliance with all local accounting, legal, and donor reporting requirements. The Finance Director must build and maintain a motivated and productive team, develop proper monitoring and follow-up systems to ensure financial sustainability and provide advice and support to the programme on financial management.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in management with professional accountancy degree (CA or ACCA) is necessary
  
• At least 8 years of working experience in managing finances in I/NGO or relevant sectors is required
  

Other Specifications

• S/he should also have excellent knowledge of financial management systems and reporting
  
• Hands-on experience with computerized Accounting Systems
  
• Knowledge of Sun Systems is highly desirable
