About the Projects:
Promoting Inclusive Safe School in Makwanpur Project:
With an aim of enhancing access of children especially the girls to quality education within safe, resilient and inclusive education facilities and systems, Promoting Inclusive Safe School Project will be implemented in Makwanpur district. The project intends to directly reach 3,913 students, teachers, School Management Committee Members and Parents Teachers Association within 10 schools of the area. This is an integrated project and the major project interventions will be inclusive education including school reconstruction, child protection, gender and DRR.
Girls Learn Equally Project:
With an overall aim of strengthening gender transformative inclusive schools where girls, boys and children with disabilities can learn equally with positive and non-discriminatory education environment, Girls Learn Equally Project will be implemented in 24 schools in Sindhuli district. The major project interventions will be capacity building of the teachers, support safe and accessible learning facilities, improvement of WASH facilities, provision of scholarship and campaign against harmful social practices.
Purpose: The position holder will be responsible to lead the project financial management including monitoring, coaching and capacity development of implementing partner’s finance staffs. S/He also ensures the full compliance of operational manual, internal control system, donor’s requirements, income tax act and rules along with related circulars and directives.
Terms and Location: Fixed term employment till 30 November 2020 based in Country Office, Lalitpur.
