It was registered in 1994 with District Administration Office, Udayapur under Organization Registration Act 2034 B.S. HURENDEC Nepal, established in 2050 BS with a goal to promote human rights, child rights, peace and livelihood through people’s collective empowerment. HURENDEC Nepal is continuously being supported by different national, international donors and I/NGOs as well as government of Nepal. 

Now, HURENDEC NEPAL is implementing Nutrition Resilience Livelihood Technical Programme (TP) in partnership with World Vision International Nepal from November 2020 with a goal “children are well nourished”. Job Description

Time Duration: November 2020- September 2021(initial contract with 3 months' probation period). 

Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning and analysis in I/NGO and preferably within WVIN projects.

Major Responsibilities 

Financial Management of the Project/Program – 40%

  • General financial recording, book keeping using IPAS accounting software.
  • Ensure all payments made with proper financial procedures, supporting documents for expense verification.
  • Preparation and administration of payroll adhering the required compliance.
  • Issuance and settlement of employee advance, Reconciliation of payable and receivable ledger and bank reconciliation, Scan copy of voucher and submit to donor.

Budgeting and Reporting – 30%

  • Support project/program team in preparation of monthly, annual budget, analysis of administrative cost preparation and it’s sharing to project.
  • Preparation donor financial report, MIS report and shared in agreed timeline to sectors.
  • Orient non-financial employee on financial requirement to project staffs.
  • Preparation and analysis of fund/cash flow forecast.

Financial Monitoring – 20%

  • Ensure each and every expense are valid and meets minimum financial requirements with Field monitoring from financial point of view.
  • Provide financial analysis and monitoring during procurement
  • Report any potential fraud and misusage identified during project implementation.
  • Interlink the project/program finance with the overall organization financial management system.

Compliance and Others – 10%

  • Ensure internal control measures are in place and are followed appropriately and also assist in all type of audit (Internal, donor, external) and support in task as assigned by the supervisor and board.
  • Liaised with government agencies such as, Tax Office concerning annual audit report, tax clearance, DPAC etc.
