Terms and Location: Kathmandu, Deployment starting from November 1, 2015

Main Responsibilites / Duties
Under the direct supervision of Finance Manager of the organization, Finance Assistant will:

• Enter accounting data into organization financial system (Fundtrack light)
• Coordinate with bank for day to day banking transaction
• Reconcile Cash and Bank balances in regular basis and ensure books are in safely custody
• Prepare cheques for suppliers/contractors and also arrange cash paymentsas per the organization financial regulations and guidelines
• Check working advances payments and ensure these are cleared on timely manner
• Assist in preparation and payment of staff salaries
• Ensure the correct expenditure codes in all vouchers to ensure better financial recording and budget control
• Ensure safe keeping of all the accounting bills, vouchers and documents with complete safety and security

Essential Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Business administration/accounting
• Minimum one year experience in accounting
• Trained on financial software preferably Fundtrack light
• Working experience with UN, INGO /NGO will be an assets
• Strong capability in computer & IT applications (Word, Excel, Internet & Email etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Nepali and English languages
