Umbrella Organization Nepal is a registered non-profit making, non-political, non-sectarian and Non-Government Organisation (NGO), working in Nepal since 2005. UON was set up in response to the growing number of children in Nepal who were displaced and separated from their families by trafficking, poverty and internal conflict in the country. It currently implements family reintegration, youth and education and programs, and operates a youth club
The Programme Director (PD) will work closely with the INGO Country Director and provide leadership and strategic direction to the programme team. The PD shall be responsible for all aspects of programme management, design, delivery, monitoring, evaluation, learning and reviews. The PD will assist the international team in proposal writing for key donors and fundraising for the overall Nepal programme and ensure accountability, transparency and careful monitoring and reporting of all projects.

Duration: The initial contract will be for 1 year, with the option to extend based on satisfactory performance. This will be subject to a 3 months probation period
Working Hours: Full Time
Contract Date: Immediately
Salary: Starting salary between 25-30,000 NPR/month, dependent on experience

S/he is responsible for the Finance and Admin Department to ensure smooth financial, accounting and administration operations of the organization, specifically Accounting/Financial Management, HR and Administration. FAO will report directly to the Program Director of UON Nepal.
