The Manager Finance is responsible to provide financial information in order for the management team to make informed business decisions. Monthly financial reporting must include: pax number, agent wise revenue, cost, AR, and AP for the three financially independent entities: Thamserku Trekking, Thamserku Travels and Bluesheep which are related to each other.

The Manager Finance proposes and gets approval for a seasonalized annual financial budget and monitors and reports monthly performance against budget. The jobholder identifies areas for potential cost reductions and ensures that all financial transactions meet legal requirements and are standardized throughout the Thamserku Group.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Provide relevant financial data to the core management team on a monthly basis
• Identify cost overruns vs. target and recommend corrective action to business management
• Manage the cash-flow of the three Thamserku entities
• Manage Accounts Receivables AR to secure proper funding of operation
• Manage Accounts Payables AP to meet agreed payment terms
• Approve monthly salary payments and ensures timely payout
• Performance management of Finance-team: day-to-day supervision, goal setting, regular feedback and annual performance review
• Define standardized financial processes and ensure adherence to processes
• Establish in cooperation with members of core team an annual planning process
