Job Summary:

Field Technician installs, maintains and troubleshoots Fiber and Wireless connections to deliver desired Internet service to a client's home or business. S/he performs on-site installation and repairs with a goal to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction.

Workplace:

Filed Technician works in Himalayan Areas of Nepal for atleast 9 months per year.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all on site fiber and wireless installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and other documents
• Build positive relationships with customers

Academic/Professional Qualification:

• Intermediate Level in IT discipline with high priority to graduates
  
• Preference for professionals with fiber/wireless related certifications 

Work Experience: 

• A minimum of two years of hands on experience on fiber and wireless technology
• Proven Field Service experience

Personal Traits:

• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Ability to work under pressure at flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
• Familiarity with fiber/wireless technology and equipment of various vendors
• Dedication towards work and self-motivated to learn new technologies through self-study
• Great team player with positive attitude and possessing interpersonal and co-ordination skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
