NLR Nepal is a not-for-profit national organisation registered under Company Registration Act of Nepal in 2018. NLR is a member of NLR Alliance led by NLR Netherlands for providing technical and financial support to leprosy and disability programmes in seven countries including Nepal. 

NLR in Nepal, works closely with the government and non-government stakeholders and partners to eradicate leprosy from the country and to make all development initiatives inclusive to people affected by leprosy and disability.  NLR Nepal consists of 18 staff members and located at Sankhamul Marga, New Banewhwor Kathmandu with its field offices in Biratnagar and Dhangadhi covering province one and Sudur Pashchim Pradesh.

Job Description

Responsible to: Deputy Director – Technical
Responsible for: Boundary partners / focal person through functional relationship
Location: Dhangadhi Field Office, Kailali, Dhangadhi

Job summary: 

Responsible for the implementation and completion of the field based projects, directly or indirectly, including priority setting between activities, in order to achieve the result anticipated by NLR in line with outcome mapping approach.

Support and facilitate to Government especially the municipalities and boundary partners integrated leprosy and Disability in disability related activities to deal with all contextual factors of disability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in relevant subject plus 2 years experience in health sector including disability control.
