Main Objective: Overall management of ACF operations in Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts

TASKS AND RESPONSIBITIES:

• Providing humanitarian analysis to technical HoD
• Training and accompanying for facilitation of assessments (log, HR, security, external coordination) in coordination with the technical HODs
• Writing or facilitate the writing of assessment reports
• Initiate the development of base strategy in line with the overall Mission strategy and in collaboration with the base team and local community Stakeholders where relevant
• Ensuring integration and coherence of the activities within the Country strategy
• Lead in drafting project concepts in support of strategy and participate in writing narrative and budgetary project proposals, in conjunction with relevant staff
• Supervising and monitoring the implementation of regular programs at field level 
• Facilitating the new project’s conception in collaboration with Head of Technical Department, Country Director and Program managers
• Ensure the synergy between Technical and Support services at field level
• Brief newcomers about the general, humanitarian and security context and the living conditions
• Managing and supporting  Base Logistics, HR and administrative staff
• Supervising field contribution for logistics, administration and HR for program proposals and reporting.
• Ensuring field teams proactively express relevant demands of support to coordination team in order to maximize operational efficiency and impact
• Monitoring and supervising the overall partnerships relations at field level
• Compiling, checking and providing the Country Director/Deputy Country Director all reporting documents requested (APR, reports for authorities, for donors)  
• Maintaining an effective network, with local input, on contextual and security matters, collection  and analysis of information to establish the risk and context analysis

Contract End Date     : 28th February 2017
Basic Salary per month    : NPR 1,39,104/- (accommodation allowance which depends on localized/delocalized staff, transportation allowance, provident fund benefit and festival bonus)
