GATE plays a vital role in Nepal educating young adults for a professional career in the Global Hospitality Industry. The Hospitality Industry is one of the fastest growing and largest industries in the world. Working with international guests requires technical, communication, process, facilitation skills and the confidence to execute on demand. These are practiced skills gained through education. GATE uses problem-based learning (PBL) to give its students practice at these skills so they have the confidence to perform in a world-class setting. GATE was an approved academy by the Ministry of Education of Nepal in 2007 and became affiliated with Swiss Hotel Association (SHA), referred as the benchmark of global excellence in hospitality education. SHA has proven successful international affiliates in Australia for almost 25 years and is also the founder of world renowned EHL -Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne for over 122 years. With this affiliation, GATE has access to curriculum, plans, management and systems support so that it can provide Nepali students with the latest in Hospitality management training.

Job Description

  • Bachelor degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality Management and related subjects, Master degree would be preferred
  • At least one year of teaching experience of related subjects
  • Industry experience is preferred
  • Should have strong analytical and excellent planning skills
  • Good command in English language
  • Must be able to express and self clearly, both written and verbal
  • Should have knowledge of class/lesion planning and management
  • Computer literate
