Job Description

Effectively manage the restaurant by ensuring the following:

  • Greet guests and maintain a high profile in the Company lobby
  • Be totally familiar with all the aspects of the Company and its facilities, including guest activity programs, rates and promotional packages
  • Discuss daily activities with Asst. Manager /Executive chef
  • To be completely familiar with all daily bookings and to identify regular and commercially important guests
  • To be present in case of all VIP & Suite arrivals and escort them to the sitting area
  • Assist Sales department as and when required
  • Meet guests visiting the Restaurant
  • Assist management with promotional activities
  • Demonstrate Awareness of O&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within O&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same
  • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
  • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
  • Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
  • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
