Expression of Interest (EOI)
Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is an international conservation charity founded in 1826 as the world's first scientific zoological society. During its near 200 years history, it has had a firm legacy of conservation, research, and animal care in over 50 countries, helping it pursue its vision of a world where wildlife thrives. ZSL's purpose is to inspire, inform and empower people so that they understand their roles in helping stop wild animals from going extinct. ZSL has been supporting biodiversity conservation work in Nepal for the last 25 years.
ZSL Nepal Office is in the process of updating its database of eligible suppliers/vendors for stationery items, offset printing, IT equipment, field gears, electronic equipment (e.g. digital and trapping cameras), Airline Ticketing and Vehicle Hire Service, various other consumables as well as individual experts, firms and company for consultancy services on broad categories specified below. With this notice, ZSL Nepal seeks expression of interest (EOI) for eligible & interested suppliers/vendors and firms/company for the year 2022 to update our roster.
The main categories for areas of expertise are listed below, include at least one of these by indicating the numbers
(1) Habitat and Ecosystems, (2) Species, (3) Ecotourism, () Illegal Wildlife Trade, (5) Human Wildlife Conflict, (6) Climate Change and Environment, (7) Bioprospecting Livelihood Programme, (8) Green Infrastructure, (9) Financial and Management Services, (10) Policy and Governance, (11) Editing and Translation.
Mandatory requirements for pre-qualification
- Suppliers/vendors and consultancy firm/companies should be registered in Nepal.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the categories applied for
- Demonstrate financial stability and available credit line.
- Availability of all equipment required for fulfilment of the services

2 Company registration certificate, VAT/PAN registration certificate
3 Tax clearance certificate for FY 2077-78
4 Company profile
Copies of documents to be enclosed along with the EOI for consultancy services (where applicable)

2 Signed updated CV, copy of citizenships or company profile
3 Copy of PANIVAT certificate company registration certificate
4 Tax clearance certificate for FY 2007-78
Interested suppliers/ vendors and consultancy firm/companies are encouraged to send request to [email protected] with required documents within 15 days of the publication of this notice (26 January 2022) and by the end of working hours (17:00hrs).
ZSL Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without giving any reasons whatsoever. Only shortlisted individuals/ organizations will be notified via email. Telephone calls will not be entertained.
