Invitation for Bids for the Procurement of Rescue Vehicles for Search and Rescue

1. Government of Nepal has received a loan/credit/grant from the World Bank towards the cost of Machineries and Equipment and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for the Procurement of Rescue Vehicles for Search and Rescue. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from all countries as defined in The World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers: Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016(Revised November 2017).
2. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), EHRP invites sealed or electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Rescue Vehicles for Search and Rescue. Interested Eligible Bidders shall obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from PPMO egp system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
3. A complete set of Bidding Documents can download for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document Rs 5000 in the following Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

4. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at September 10, 2021 at 12:00 in Office
5. Electronic bids must be submitted through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 hour (Local time) on September 22, 2021 Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
6. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at September 22, 2021 at 14:00 the office of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, Singha durbar, Kathmandu.
7. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of NRs.2 Million (Two Million only), which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid.
8. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
