The Women for Human Rights, single Women Group (WHR) through Peace Project is seeking proposal (technical and financial) for a video documentary production from individuals/organizations.
The documentary should be in line with documenting the milestones, inspiring stories on policy advocacy through story telling approach. Furthermore, the documentary should also document WHR successful tools and approaches on movement building, mobilization of its groups as a change agent, policy interventions, leadership transformation, construction of Chhahari-space for immediate rehabilitation and support, international policy advocacy, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications for the contractor/consultant/company/agency:
- Minimum of five years’ work experience in the area of film/reportage/documentary writing, producing, directing and editing;
- History of performance excellence regarding themes/target groups that are the same as/similar to the above mentioned ones;
- Ability to effectively apply high production and technical standards for the purpose of maintaining high levels of professionalism;
- Ability to work in both Nepali and English languages;
- Successful materials filmed in the region would be an asset.
The Contractor/consultant/company/agency is expected to provide:
- Estimated budget and timeframe;
- Copies of government registration documents including Tax Clearance documents up to 2079/80 and PAN;
- Appropriate portfolio from previous work and information on films that where prepared for renowned national or international organizations;
- Brief information about previous experiences on similar programs/projects and similar work for major national or international projects/organizations;
- Brief bios (CVs) of the key people to be engaged in the production of documentary;
- Detailed filming plan and timetable of all phases in pre-production, production and post-production;

Duration: Around 20 minutes
Language: The documentary should be narrated both in English and Nepali languages
The versions provided should be compatible with Internet and TV screening
The documentary should cover:
- WHR milestones,
- WHR movements
- WHR leadership transformation
- WHR policy advocacy from local to provincial to national level
- WHR group strengthening
- Inspiring stories of single women from grassroots to national level
- Construction of Chhahari as a safe shelter space, etc.

Time Frame of the Documentary Production
The stipulated time frame for the submission of the concept is 21th August, 2022 and for the concept finalization and production is November 15th, 2022.
