The Government of Nepal has received a credit from the World Bank and allocated budget towards the cost of Strategic Road Connectivity and Trade Improvement Project (SRCTIP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for periodic maintenance of Barkhe Khola-Dhulikel (Ch. 149+000 - 156+000) of BP Highway. Bidding is open to all eligible bidders as per Section V of the bidding document.
Suryabinayak-Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel- Sindhuli- Bardibas Road Project invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the Periodic Maintenance Asphalt Overlay of Barkhe Khola- Dhulikel (Ch. 149+000-156+000) of BP Highway under National Competitive BiddingSingle Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures.
Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:
Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years out of last 10 years: Rs 111 Millions
Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: Participation as Prime contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least one Contract within the last ten (10) years, each with a value of at least NRs 59 Millions that have been successfully or are substantially completed and that are similar to the proposed works. The similarity shall be based on the physical size, complexity, methods, technology or other characteristics as described in Section VI, Works Requirements.

Bidders may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders should deposit the cost of the bidding document in the Project's Rajaswa (revenue) account as specified below.

Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Suryabinayak - Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel- Sindhuli- Bardibas Road Project through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 on 17 October 2022. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend immediately after submission deadline at the office of Suryabinayak - Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel- Sindhuli-Bardibas Road Project Minbhawan Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security(scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format) amounting to a minimum of NRs 20,00,000 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. Date 150 days from the last date of submission
If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date.In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
