Invitation for Bids

Global IME Bank Limited invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of a High-Performance Network Switch.
Eligibility Criteria for the Bidders
a. The Bidder must be a firm/company/organization registered under applicable Act in Nepal.
b. The bidder should submit Manufacture's Authorization Letter from the OEM.
c. The bidder should have at least 2 certified Engineer in their payroll.
d. The bidder should have at least 5 years of company registration.
e. The bidder should have work experience of providing similar switch at least 1 A Class Commercial Bank and 2 corporate (including financial institutions) entities in Nepal.
1. A complete set of Bidding Documents can be purchased from Global IME Bank Limited, General Service Department, Kamaladi Kathmandu by eligible Bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NPR 10,000.00 [NPR Ten Thousand Only] till 1 P.M. on October 31, 2025. Cash should be deposited in Account No.: 003700524005 (Other Income-Misc.)
2. Sealed bids must be submitted to Global IME Bank Limited, General Service Department, Kamaladi Kathmandu by hand/courier on or before 4:30 PM on November 2, 2025. Bids received after this deadline will not be accepted.
3. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend on November 3, 2025 at Global IME Bank Limited, Corporate office.
4. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 Days from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid bond or cash deposit voucher amounting to a minimum of 5% of total bid amount (Including license/application cost). The bank has the right to extend the validity of the BID as per the requirement.
5. If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a public holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case, the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
6. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Global IME Bank Limited, General Service Department, Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
7. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
