NOTICE FOR SHORTLISTING OF CONSULATANTS
AND REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
(Date of Publication: 25 March, 2021)
1. Government of Nepal (GoN) intends to apply a portion of allocated budget to eligible payments under the Contract for which this notice for Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued.
2. Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project (SMDMP) invites proposals from the following shortlisted international firms and their Joint Venture to provide the services under the scope of the Contract No.: DWRI/SMDMP/CS-01/2076-77; Construction Management and Related Works for Construction of Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project.
3. Name of the short listed firms are as follows:
- M/S JV of AF-Consult Switzerland Ltd., Switzerland, North Star Engineering Consultant P. Ltd., Nepal and SITARA Consult Pvt. Ltd., Nepal;
- M/S JV of DOLSAR Engineering Inc. Co., Turkey, TUNNEL CONSULT Engineering SL, Spain, CEMAT Consultants Pvt. Ltd. , Nepal and Full Bright Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd., Nepal;
- M/S JV of Hatch Ltd., Canada, WAPCOS Limited, India and Total Management Services Pvt. Ltd., Nepal and,
- M/S JV of SMEC International Pty Ltd, Australia, EMAY International Engineering and Consultancy Inc., Turkey, Jade Consult Pvt. Ltd., Nepal and CMS Engineering Consult Private Limited, Nepal.
4. The shortlisted firms are requested to obtain the RFP document for the consulting services upon submission of written application from Office of Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Nepal.
5. Consultant will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) and procedures as described in the RFP document.
6. Pre-proposal Submission Conference will be held at 11:00 AM hrs on 9th April 2021 in site office of Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project. All shortlisted firms or their representatives are strongly advised to attend the conference, though it is not mandatory.
7. Proposals must be submitted to the Office of Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, Nepal on or before 12:00 hrs on 9th May, 2021. Proposals received after this deadline will not be accepted.
8. Technical Proposal shall be opened, in the presence of the firm's representatives who choose to attend, on 9th May, 2021 at 13:00 hrs at Room No 424, Department of Water Resource and Irrigation, Jawalakhel.
9. If the last date of submission and opening falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last day.
10. The SMDMP reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the proposals without assigning any reason, whatsoever.
