Invitation for Bids for the
Construction of Dallemane-Kyangse Road and Installation of Lord Shiva Statue

1. The Government of Nepal has allocated funds towards the cost of Construction of Dallemane-Kyangse Road and Installation of Lord Shiva Statue at Jiri-2,3, Cherdung, Dolakha and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for JIRI.MUN.NCB.ROAD.DK.04-2077/78 Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
2. Jiri Municipality, Jiri, Dolakha invites electronic bid from eligible bidders for the Construction of Dallemane Kyangse Road and Installation of Lord Shiva Statue under National Competitive Bidding Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding procedures. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding: Minimum Average Annual Construction Turnover of the best 3 years within the last 10 years: NRs. 4,66,00,000.00 (Four Crore Sixty Six Lakhs Only.) With VAT. Minimum Work experience of similar size and nature: At least One (1) contract of Road Construction project within the last ten (10) years with a value of at least 1,78,00,000.00 ( One Crore Seventy Eight Lakhs Only.) Without VAT. The detailed eligibility criteria are given in bidding document.
3. Bidders are required to submit the bidding forms (Technical & Price Bid Separately) including Bid Security strictly as per the format given in the bidding document.
4. A complete set of bidding document may be downloaded from PPMO's Web Site www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, should deposit the cost of bidding document (NRs. 5,000.00) five thousand in the Project's account as specified below and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids. 5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at:

6. Electronic Bids must be submitted to the office through PPMO website www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. On before 12:00 PM on 2078/01/16. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
7. The Technical Bid will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 PM on 2078/01/16 at Jiri Municipality, Jiri, Dolakha Nepal. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format, amounting to a minimum of NRs. 6,50,000.00 (Six Lakhs fifty thousand only) which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of 90 days of the bid security. 8. The Price Bid of only qualified bidders shall be opened later. Time and date of Price Bid opening shall be informed to the qualified bidders later. The Price Bid of unqualified bidders shall be returned unopened.
9. If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
10. Other related rules and regulations will be as per Public Procurement Act-2063 and Public Procurement Regulations-2064 with recent amendments.
