Key Responsibilities

  • Handle BlueSky Sensors, its accessories, other technical tasks related to field monitoring at study locations.
  • Support in installation, regular monitoring of BlueSky Sensors in different study locations.
  • Ensure continuous access of data from these sensors.
  • Assist in data handling. 
  • Conduct field visits to ensure smooth operation of these sensors by doing necessary repair and maintenance. 
  • Provide necessary related Information technology (IT) support.
  • Ensure regular communications with team members at Central Department of Environmental Science (CDES).
  • Attend meetings and be available during the entire contract duration.
  • Support team members at CDES for submission of deliverables on time.
  • Support in required coordination and communication with related stakeholders.
  • Undertake other relevant duties as may be required by the CDES focal person as well as USAID Clean Air Technical Monitor. 
  • Prepare meeting minutes, daily activity report, event report as well as weekly report on status of low-cost sensors.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in IT or related field
  • At least two years of work experience in use of low-cost air quality monitoring sensors 
  • Good knowledge and technical skills of low-cost air quality monitoring sensors
  • Good coordination and communication skills in both verbal and written
