Encoder-1 Position

Purpose:The position holder will be responsible to encode and translate sponsorship communication products prepared by field and received from National Offices ensuring quality of documents. They will also be responsible to translate communication products from sponsors to the sponsored children and vice-versa.

Term and Location: Fixed term employment for 1 year based in Field Office-Mid-Western Hills Office, Jumla.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:

  • At least 10+2 pass, Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Computer skills especially email, internet database, photoshop, excel, word etc.
  • English and Nepali language competency both verbal and written, local dialect a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update Sponsored Child (SC) profile with quality and correct photographs into Child data system within the given timeframe
  • Print Sponsored Child Information (SCI)/Sponsored Child Updates (SCU) as per the guidelines of Sponsorship Manual or as per the instruction provided by the Sponsorship Department
  • Translate sponsored child letters from Nepali to English and sponsors letters from English to Nepali along with the Email communications (ECO) email’s received
  • Translate sponsors visit report and other sponsorship document provided by sponsorship department in given standard format
  • Translate and upload cancellation memorandum of Sponsored Child from Nepali to English
  • Keep digital photographs of Sponsor Child/Sponsor Family of last two Fiscal Years systematically
  • Keep disaggregated data on Sponsored Children related to their education, birth registration, disability, sanitation status as per need
